Shopping: From Saturday 21st March 2020, until further notice during the Coronavirus pandemic, and with many thanks to our friends from Belsay Shop, you can order what food and goods you need and have them delivered free to Whalton Village Hall. You can collect your order from Whalton Village Hall between 2pm and 3pm* every day (except Sunday). Or we can arrange to have it delivered to you by volunteers from the community.
*Please note change of time.
To place an order:
If you don’t have access to text or email please call a volunteer and we will arrange the order for you.
Paying for your order:
If you already have an account with Belsay Shop for newspapers or similar, your shopping can be added to your bill. Otherwise you will need to pay for your order either by credit or debit card when you place the order, or online. If this gives anyone difficulties or you need help with this, please let us know on the numbers below.
Requesting volunteer help and delivery to your home:
If you would like village volunteers to deliver your order to you, please call the Village Hall Caretaker, Linda Willis 775411, Lucy Bird 775071 or 07808 490004, Andrew Potter 07429 339886, or Richard or Julie Potter 775528.
