Watercolour Painting Course

Watercolour Painting Course.

Thursdays 1-4 in Whalton Village Hall

Commencing 13th September

10 x 3 hour sessions

Subscription - £150

Following the success of the short summer course the Village Hall is offering the opportunity to participate in a full ten week watercolour painting class this autumn. It will be led by leading local artist Clifford Blakey (see below) and is suitable for both absolute beginners and those who may have painted before and who wish to develop their knowledge and skills. The small group will meet on Thursdays from 1-4 pm in the Village Hall starting on Thursday 13th September and ending on Thursday 22nd November. Subscription for the ten session course is £150. The sessions are informal, relaxed and encouraging. Each week you will tackle a subject with instruction, advice and help. Only basic equipment required (paints, brushes and paper).

‘I attended as a raw beginner and have enjoyed it enormously …. I’m definitely improving and I now get hours of pleasure from a new interest. If you’re a novice give it a try – I think you will surprise yourself with what you can do with some expert advice and support. If you’ve painted before, dig out those brushes and let Cliff reinvigorate your interest. His passion and enthusiasm are infectious’
